Just last week, fans of the show Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant, got a huge shock. Rachel Beavers’ ex-boyfriend, Drew Brooks was arrested yet again. This time is in jail for homicide! Brooks is 22 years old and he was arrested on April 6 at 12:23 a.m. in Tennessee. He is currently being held at the Monroe County Justice Center. His court date is scheduled for April 18.

Teen Mom: What Happened?
Back on March 29, Brooks was released from jail after he was arrested for unlawful carrying or possession of a weapon. These charges were dropped because there weren’t any witnesses to prove anything. These incidents in question happened on March 1 and March 3.
Teen Mom: Drew Brooks Arrested for Homicide
The police report read, “the arresting officer conducted a vehicle search on Brooks while patrolling a Walmart parking lot in Madisonville, Tennessee. They found a concealed firearm and a black ski mask. He was detained and transported to Monroe County Justice Center.”
On March 15, he went to court yet again. On March 13, he was reported as trespassing when he was seen at Walmart yet again. He had been banned from Walmart for shoplifting. Brooks has had legal trouble since 2018 after evading arrest and possession of alcohol underage.
Also on his record are two counts of contributing to a minor and violating his probation. He also has property theft charges on his phone from 2018. Brooks has quite the criminal record.
Back in July of 2020, Rachel posted that he had gotten out of jail. These two have a child, Hazelee, together and we saw her with him on Teen Mom. Although Brooks thought it was his baby, she told the cameras that it was Jacob Russell’s baby, who was a very close friend to Brooks. We did find out that Brooks is Hazelee’s father after all.
Rachel wrote back then, “I’ve known my baby’s father from the jump. Quit asking mer who her dad is. Her father is clearly Drew. ZI just said she was Jacob’s because I was dumb and and wanted a family so bad, and Drew didn’t want to be there for her and Jacob did. I literally lived with Drew and had JUST broken up with him when I found out that I was pregnant.”
We will continue to follow this case to see what happens next to Brooks. It looks as if he is facing quite a few years in prison ocne his trial comes. Homicide is serious and it looks as if he needs some kind of rehabilitation.
