‘Teen Mom’ star Farrah Abraham’s mother – Debra Danielsen will never be accused of being a typical mother. Though she was in telecommunications when audiences first met her during Farrah’s tenure on MTV’s 16 and pregnant, she has since tried to regain her youth with a dramatically different appearance, has divorced Farrah’s father Michael and remarried a doctor named David and, most hilariously, tried her hand at being a rapper.

Now even Rappin’ Deb has drawn a line in the sand when it comes to her daughter’s antics – no, it didn’t start with Farrah getting preggers at 16, or starring in a porn flick, or cutting into her body for multiple cosmetic surgeries.

But, we kind of have to agree with Deb when she takes a strong stance against Farrah selling her poop in jars.
Like all moms, Deb believes in her daughter just enough to assert that Farrah was “tricked” into starting up her side hustle (not trying to copy then one-up 90 Day Fiancé fartjar-trepeneur, Stephanie Matto).
“Somebody who is [her] enemy got on OnlyFans and said ‘I’ll give you 1000 bucks if you s**t in a vile. She thinks it’s a great idea and a great way to earn money, not realizing she was set up,” Deb explained.
She had no explanation as to how Farrah parlayed her poop jars into the ‘bathroom themed’ adult videos which Farrah has denied having involvement in, conveniently forgetting that producing the receipts was pretty dang easy for her accusers.
Needless to say, no matter how far Farrah has gone, Debra has had enough and, aside from being embarrassed by her daughter’s behavior, she’s also sick of being blamed for how her spawn turned out.
“I advocated higher education to my daughters, do you think there was any time I would ever suggest she get to that level of human depravity?” Debra asked.
Debra said that her husband, David was the one to break Farrah’s poop news to her. “He came to me and told me about it, trying to protect me so that when I go into a room and someone throws this [topic] at me, I’m not blown out of the water.”
Aside from the shame, Debra is pained by her youngest’s new lifestyle. “It hurts me deeply because I know my daughter deep down inside is better than that. I have no idea how to pull her back.”
She also worries for her granddaughter, 13 year old Sophia, saying Farrah’s antics “affect me and Sophia negatively. People come after us and say horrible things.” Farrah has been criticized mercilessly about how she’s raising her young teen aged daughter and Sophia is often jumping into the fray, defending her mom.
Farrah’s recent arrest was also brought up by Deb. In January Farrah was held face-down on a pavement outside a restaurant/club after allegedly slapping a club employee. She belligerently carried on about being a public figure and a law student and, after her release from jail, professed that she’d been unfairly detained, harassed, targeted and assaulted. She also denied that she’d hit anyone and said it was all a set up from the start.
64 year old, Deb didn’t mince words. “Here she is lying out on the sidewalk drunk and slurring her words and acting so depraved,” Debra said of her daughter. “She’s a victim? No. Grow up, say ‘I have a problem and I need to fix myself.’”
She continued, “Mental health and wellbeing are really important to protect yourself from all of these evil things that come across your path. Obviously, I don’t think she understands that people are trying to hurt her, and she doesn’t believe in herself.”
This is far from the first time Debra and Farrah have opposed each other. The two have showcased their contentious relationship on both 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, and even made headlines when Debra choked Farrah out and went after her with a kitchen knife.
The pair have also appeared on VH1’s couples therapy (but of course???) and boosted the ratings of WEtv’s Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition, when Debra and Farrah appeared alongside Farrah’s dad (Deb’s ex-husband), Michael.
This time, however, Debra and Farrah have been estranged for almost a year. It doesn’t seem as though things will get better anytime soon.
“People think I’m like Farrah,” she said. “No, I’m not anything like that…. I’ve gone to school and achieved so many things, made history, and it’s all destroyed when you have one person running around doing weird s**t.”
She also seems to think she’s missed out on job opportunities because of Farrah.
“Farrah’s gets in an altercation on Celebrity Big Brother and now it’s like, ‘We don’t want to bring Farrah’s mom in here because she would be like that, too… People look at the world as the way MTV framed it up [on ‘Teen Mom’] and take it as the truth and it really isn’t.”
She also claims to have pitched several reality shows that have never been picked up- all because of Farrah, of course.
However, Debz OG has decided to take matters into her own hands now. The grandmother of 3 will be starting her own podcast next month. The Debra D Music Podcast (a working title) is said to feature celebrity interviews, uplifting stories, and- consider yourself warned- some “White Woman Rapping”.
Debz OG has been actively reaching out to the ‘Teen Mom’ cast and crew members, trying hard to rally some troops. “There’s a lot of very interesting stories behind the scenes,” she said, speaking of the ‘Teen Mom’ crew. “They’ve never really gotten to share their stories in a positive way.”
How long before she and Farrah hash it out on the airwaves? Well, you’ll have to tell me, I won’t be subscribing!
