Let’s not pretend like we are surprised about this, ok? There are new reports that say Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin are expecting their seventh child together. The couple made their announcement on social media. Here’s what you need to know.
Hilaria Baldwin posted a video of the couple sharing the news with their children, writing in the caption “After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall.”

“We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise,” the caption continued. “I’m sharing with you the moment we told the kids–as you can see, they are super excited! Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives.”
She added that the new baby is “A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times.” The former yoga instructor and Alec are already parents to daughters Carmen, 8, and María Lucía, 13 months, and sons Rafael, 6, Leonardo, 5, Romeo, 3, and Eduardo “Edu,” 18 months.
This all comes after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died on the set of Alec’s film “Rust” back in October. She died after the actor allegedly shot and killed the cinematographer on accident while on the set of the film. In a statement made to the press, lawyers for Baldwin and the Rust producers named in the lawsuit say Baldwin, Hutchins “and the rest of the crew relied on the statement by the two professionals responsible for checking the gun that it was a ‘cold gun’ — meaning there is no possibility of a discharge, blank or otherwise.”
The lawyers say the protocol “has worked on thousands of films, with millions of discharges, as there has never before been an incident on a set where an actual bullet harmed anyone.”
