There’s a new report that says the yacht that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez canoodled on during their trip to the Mediterranean sea last summer actually belonged to a Russian oligarch. That, and it was just seized, too. Here’s what you need to know.

The yacht that Ben and Jennifer vacationed on, called Valerie, was seized in Barcelona. Apparently, it belongs to Sergei Chemezov, the CEO of the Russian state-owned defense conglomerate Rostec and a close ally and former KGB colleague of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As many fans can recall, Ben and Jen supposedly recreated their “Jenny from the Block” scene while on the yacht, as the actor seemingly caressed his girlfriend’s behind in clear view of the cameras.
Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine has sparked sanctions from world leaders, hitting the country’s wealthiest people. These days, Russia’s most notable business figures are dependent on the Kremlin to continue making money, according to experts.
So far neither Ben Affleck nor Jennifer Lopez have made any comments about the matter, although it’s doubtful that at this point they will.
