The new Kardashian TV show on HULU was a surprise to many, but now that it has been teased, Caitlyn Jenner has come out saying that it is “unfortunate that she will not appear on the show at all. Jenner was on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Kris Jenner is her ex-wife. Jenner wanted to open up more about what she thought of the new show and told fans just what was on her mind.
The Kardashians: Jenner’s Tweets
Variety had posted a tweet about the new show and that was enough to get Jenner to reply. She wrote, “I was there when this started from day one. I watched it grow. And doing the show for almost 20 years was one of the highlights of my life. To be able to work with my family for all those years, connect with the fans, was incredible. Happy that it continues for my family.” Jenner then added, on a blogging platform, “Of course at the same time, it is unfortunate to not be given the opportunity to continue with the show. With that said, I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am for my family that it continues!”
The Kardashians: Caitlyn Jenner Will Not Appear
Jenner was happy to be on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and when it started, she told fans, “I realized really quickly that we had something, and it was very special. Once we knew it was a hit, that’s when you put on a more creative hat and you start to think, ‘Oh, I see where this might be going. Maybe we should do something a little more outside the box and use this show as an amazing platform.’ And that’s what we did.”
It does appear that Jenner is happy for her family, but we all have to go back and think about how Jenner portrayed Kris in her book, “The Secrets of My Life.” Jenner badmouthed Kris in the book and this really did cause some drama between them and the rest of the family. Could this be one of the reasons that HULU did not ask Jenner to join the show?
The Kardashians were given quite the deal from the network and will be on the network for at least two seasons or 40 episodes. Fans of the infamous family are happy that they will see them again on TV, but will Caitlyn be watching?
