Hilaria Baldwin has confirmed that she will be taking a break from her social media activity.

This comes on the back end of her husband, Alec Baldwin, being involved in a wrongful death lawsuit, as a result of his prop gun incident on the set of ‘Rust’ which killed cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins.
While it is clear that people want to see someone held accountable, it is also understandable that things have not been easy for her, as she has had to watch her husband come under increasing scrutiny.
That is why she has decided to take a step back and make sure that she can keep herself in a good place. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she said: “He friends! I’m gonna take a social break. I promise I’ll be back/ I love you all and know you worry, so want to give you a heads up.”
This is probably a wise move and should have been done a lot earlier. After all, Hilaria had been criticised for her social media activity in response to that event on ‘Rust.’ This included backlash she had received, as a result of posting a Halloween photo celebrating with Alec and her kids.
Naturally, that raised a lot of emotions and backlash in light of what had happened with Halyna. After all, her husband Matt Hutchins has been left to pick up the pieces and look after his nine-year-old son.
Nevertheless, Hilaria has left the door open for a potential return. She added: “I might check in from time to time, dropping you a photo, and letting you know we are ok. Be good to yourselves and so much love and good energy to you. See you soon.”
Depending on the outcome of the lawsuit, there is no guarantee that Hilaria will return. If the court decided that Alec is guilty, Hilaria could be caught in the firing line by virtue of her association with him. Equally, if he is declared innocent, there will be those who are not going to be happy with that decision.
