On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Mahogany Roca and Ben Rathbun have finally met and he has gotten to spend some quality time with her. Their first meeting didn’t really go as they planned and they both seem different in person than they did on texts and DMs. Now Mahogany is curious about Ben’s previous relationships and he isn’t exactly sure what she is trying to get at with her questions about his exes.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days – Ben Gets Defensive
Mahogany was ready to ask Ben more about his past relationships on the newest episode of the show. She was curious to know if he had dated other women who were younger than him before. He told her, “After my divorce, I dated someone who was 27 years old for three years and we were going to get married, but when it came down to it, she did not accept my children.” When Ben gave her this answer, that is when she started to wonder more about his past.

She tells him, “It’s really strange because first, you told me that your first wife didn’t work because it was the religion’s fault. Now you tell me that you went out with a 27-year-old but she did not accept your children. So Benjamin is perfect and does absolutely nothing?” Ben tells her,, “I feel I don’t have to defend my past because it’s behind me now.”
Ben had some questions of his own and told Mahogany that it really hurt him when she acted so differently face to face than through texts. He is also hurt by the fact that she told him that she wasn’t his girlfriend yet. She tells him that she wasn’t sure what their relationship was because he is the one who skipped the step where he asked her to be his girlfriend. She mentioned in a confessional that if they were already talking about having a family together and getting married, then he should have asked the question about what their relationship status was.
These two seem to be on two completely different pages when it comes to communicating and their relationship. Perhaps they will finally get on the same page. We will have to wait and see if they ever do get on the same page on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. The new episode will air on Sunday night at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
