On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Mahogany Roca and Ben Rathbun have started to tell their story. The couple met online and has been communicating for a few months now. Ben is an ex-preacher turned model and focuses most of his time on his fitness and health.
Mahogany is also a model and that is how the two of them started to chat in the first place. Many of Ben’s friends and family members think it is very odd that they haven’t had a video chat yet and he just tells them that she is shy. Now Mahogany is trying to explain the real reasons that she can’t meet Ben.

With over 20 years of an age gap, fans of the show really are concerned that Mahogany is just using Ben for his money and gifts. All of the pictures that she has sent to him are very filtered and it looks as if she is the perfect type of woman for any man. This is why viewers feel that this is a catfish situation, much like some of the previous seasons.

Ben has three children and we saw his oldest son giving him some advice on going all the way to Peru to meet Mahogany. Ben doesn’t seem too concerned that Mahogany may be fake, but his son definitely doesn’t want his father to get hurt by her and if she is a catfish, this could be very bad.
When Ben finally gets to Peru, he is excited to meet Mahogany and ready to see where this relationship is going. He gets a text from her that seems to be a little upsetting and Ben isn’t sure what she is thinking by sending it. She told Ben that her father really isn’t sure about what his intentions are and he told her that he doesn’t want him there. It does seem a little too late though, right?
When he got this text message, he was at the airport and it seems to be a little too late for him now. Come to find out, he has tried to fly out to her before and she told him not to come about three days before he left. This seems to be a little odd, but Ben just keeps pushing to come and see her. You would think that anyone else would give it up at this point, right?
