Okay, we kind of figured this but were giving Tana Mongeau the benefit of the doubt for once because you would think that after last year’s lingerie fiasco in which she repackaged a bunch of lingerie from Ali Express and sold it for exorbitant prices, she would have learned.
Also, Tana seems to be pretty excellent at convincing people that she works harder than she actually does so for a moment… for just a brief shining moment, we were snowed and thought that maybe Tana had found her passion project with this new canned wine.
Tana Mongeau’s Wine Is Repackaged?
Well, maybe… if you count going onto the eliqs website and literally choosing your own flavor becoming passionate about things. It’s not really a secret either, Tana Mongeau’s new manager literally admitted this in an interview with Us Weekly!
So it’s not like they’re hiding the fact that Tana literally didn’t go to Napa Valley and work hard to create her own unique flavor when it comes to her wine. Okay, but since eliqs has a fully customizable flavor profile you would think that she would at least mess around a little and make the product somewhat her own, right?

Tana is not a wine connoisseur, she just became legal to consume the stuff two years ago (even though it’s questionable whether or not she imbibed before that, all things considered), so it’s not hard to see where she wouldn’t have had the time nor the actual life experience to go and actually ‘create’ her own flavor the old fashioned way.
She trusted the experts and just slapped a new label on it, which is what the eliqs website is actually for, you can create your own custom wine and just slap a new label on it, they’ll print it up and ship it to you.
The thing is, what a lot of people haven’t realized yet is that Tana is a successful figurehead, she’s not a role model (heaven forbid) but rather she’s very good at convincing people to buy cheaply made things at exorbitant prices – back in the 80’s we had a term for her – a spokesmodel, but the difference between a spokesmodel and an influencer is that an influencer gets the credit while a spokesmodel simply does the advertisements.
Oh well, did we really expect anything less – or should I say anything more – from Tana Mongeau? Stay tuned!!!
