On one of the most recent episodes of her Cancelled podcast, Tana Mongeau discussed a rather disturbing experience. Now, all of us girls have had one or two unfortunate incidents in which our period has started at a bad time and sometimes a really heavy one can start, but Tana, out of her own mouth said, “I think I had a miscarriage.” we’re pretty sure we’re not the only ones who did a double-take at our phones when that admission was made on the podcast. What?!
Now, in the past, Tana has been accused of taking Plan B hundreds of times (even more than is actually physically possible) but she said that this time that she completely forgot and didn’t take the plan B until 72 hours later. Usually, it is recommended to take the pill within the 72-hour time frame for it to work properly.
Did Tana Mongeau Have A Miscarriage? – Discusses A Rather DISTURBING Experience
However, the way Tana talked she didn’t take it until it was “too late” and even said she had a “baby bump” at one point, though we’re kind of doubting it was an actual baby bump seeing as those take time to form and we’re not actually sure how long ago this incident happened from the time that she took the pill, she didn’t give an exact time frame.
She did however say that she was sitting on her co-host, Hunter’s, bed when it happened and she happened to look down and she was bleeding a pretty heavy amount. She says that she went to the restroom as you do during one of these incidents and said that she felt “chunks coming out” which just makes one cringe to think about… but at the same time if she did have a miscarriage – at least she’s talking about it.
A lot of women do not discuss miscarriages because they feel ashamed of having them, but if this indeed was the case with Tana, then she put it out there and made it at least a little more normal for those who have gone through it.
No, it wasn’t the most sensitive way to broach the topic, and there is some doubt as to whether or not it was a legitimate miscarriage or just a really heavy period, and honestly, Tana doesn’t actually owe us that thorough of an explanation about her medical history, if she thinks she had one – well, she knows her body.
As problematic as Tana can be, our hearts do cringe for her – no matter what – it was a painful experience and while she does seem to be fine, we hope that she’s healing okay. Sometimes trauma is not all that apparent and we’re just glad she’s in therapy. Stay tuned!!!
