Armie Hammer is reportedly trying to work out things with his estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers.
Armie Hammer Is ‘Slowly Figuring Things Out’ With Elizabeth Chambers
This news arrives on the back end of Armie completing a reported 9 months in rehab for his substance abuse issues. Not only that, but it was also as a response to the rape allegations that had been directed towards the actor.
And given that the duo share kids together, it is only natural that they would want to be on good terms for the sake of co-parenting their kids.
A source told People magazine the following: “Elizabeth’s priority has always been her children and their well-being. The past year hasn’t been easy, but she and Armie have always had love for each other.
“They’re slowly figuring things out as a couple, but being parents to their two kids will always come first.” This is totally understandable for the following reasons.
First of all, with an investigation currently ongoing in order to determine whether or not Armie is going to be held liable, the very fact of the matter is that a relationship between the two is not going to be a good look.
It could inadvertently be seen as an attempt by Elizabeth to gloss over the alleged things that Armie has done. Secondly, the pair had been married for around 10 years before they decided to call it quits in 2020.
Therefore, it is not surprising that Elizabeth may still have feelings for him. Thirdly, if it does transpire that Armie was liable, then the last thing that Elizabeth would want to do is get caught in the middle of it. And yet, it is clear that she still has feelings for him.
The source added: “Elizabeth has always loved him. He is really the love of her life. They obviously had a lot of issues, but Armie’s rehab stay showed that he was committed to big changes.
“They get along and enjoy hanging out with the kids.” There is no pressure or expectation on the couple to do anything. And if they keep things that way, by focusing on their kids, then who knows where things could end up going in the future.
