Alicia Silverstone blasted her haters that had decided to make comments about her body.

The 45-year-old was not best pleased by what she felt to be a case of body-shaming. In response to this, she decided to share a TikTok video of herself where she was wearing a blue dress.

The video was captioned by the following comments: “Alicia Silverstone Candid Fat Photo,” to which Alcia responded by sticking her middle finger up to the camera before the words “D–n. I think I look good,”  followed.

This is not the first time that the actress has had to deal with comments about her body.  She has spoken extensively about this in the past, while she was filming ‘Batman and Robin’ in the 90’s.

In what should have been an historic moment for her career, by virtue of the fact that she was in one of the biggest superhero movie franchises of all time, it turned out to be anything but that.

Alicia admitted that she had been called ‘fat’ by a member of the paparazzi. And when she was looking back at this incident, it was clear to see that her confidence had taken a battering.

In a prior interview with the Guardian, Alicia remarked: “They would make fun of my body when I was younger. It was hurtful, but I knew they were wrong. I wasn’t confused.

“I knew that it was not right to make fun of someone’s body shape, that doesn’t seem like the right thing to be doing to a human.” As a result, her fans came out in droves in order to express their support for the actress on social media.

At a time where mental health is a very serious issue, her fans lent their support to her knowing that by virtue of being in the public limelight, she was going to be impacted by those comments at some level.

One person wrote: “Not only do you look DAMN GOOD ya also look healthy & happy so keep living ya best life & giving the to all da haters.” So there you have it folks.
