Actress Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about her younger years when speaking with Rob Lowe on his Literally! with Rob Lowe podcast, specifically the friendship she forged with Sheryl Berkoff- Rob Lowe’s make-up artist turned jewelry designer wife of 30 years.
The 49-year-old, who flogs off vagina-scented candles for $75 a pop, spoke of how Sheryl, who was dating Keanu Reeves at the time, treated the then teenaged Gwyneth like a younger sister. Sheryl was employed as Gwyneth mother’s (Blythe Danner) make-up artist.

When Rob appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, the funnyman host wanted to discuss one specific part of the podcast, when Gwyneth provided some, ah, interesting details about the friendship that was forged between the two women
“She knew that I was sneaking cigarettes,” Gwyneth had said to Rob on the podcast about Sheryl, “and she would come smoke with me behind the trailer, and she taught me how to give a blow job, and you know, all the classic Sheryl stuff.”
Rob had to laugh when asked about what had been revealed on the podcast, which Jimmy said: “is a very nice thing for [Sheryl] to do.”
Rob agreed and looked dead into the camera to say “Chris Martin and Brad Falchuk, you’re welcome!”
Of course, Coldplay’s frontman, Chris was married to the Goop founder for 13 years until they consciously uncoupled in 2016. Gwyneth is now married to Glee and American Horror Story co-creator, Brad.
I guess we’ve all learned the secret to Rob and Sheryl’s 30-year marriage (though Gwyneth may need some more lessons if she wants the same type of longevity in her second marriage).
Then again, Rob and Sheryl’s awesome marriage could be because of how madly in love the Brat-Packer is with the mother of his two sons. Recently of his wife, he said, “I still think she’s the hottest, sexiest, most beautiful, insane, complicated, entertaining person that I know, in addition to being a great mother.”
And she knows how to give good…lessons.
