Kendall Jenner has been defended by Lauren Perez after the former was criticised for the dress she had worn to Lauren’s wedding.
Lauren Perez Defends Kendall Jenner After She Was Slammed For Wearing An Inappropriate Dress At Her Wedding-‘SHE LOOKED STUNNING’
In the picture here, we can see that Kendall wore a black dress which had some parts of it cut out and thus revealed large parts of her body. As such, people felt that this was inappropriate for the following reasons.
First of all, it was viewed as an attempt by Kendall to look more beautiful than the actual bride. Therefore, she had inadvertently stolen the spotlight from Lauren during her biggest day.
Secondly, others felt that such a dress was inappropriate and not something befitting the occasion. This was reflection in the comments that followed.
One person wrote: “Inappropriate outfit at a wedding @kendalljenner. I’m embarrassed for you. #cringe,” while another stated: “Everyone fire, but Kendall didn’t get the assignment.”
Nevertheless, Lauren did not seem to mind at all. She was more concerned that her friend was there to support her. And by actually taking some time out to find a dress for the occasion, it demonstrated that Kendall cared.
And by the looks of it, Lauren was impressed by what Kendall was wearing. In response to the backlash, Lauren remarked: “SHE LOOKED STUNNING AND I LOVED IT!”
Following Lauren’s support for Kendall, the comments on social media began to become a lot more positive. People simply viewed it as Kendall’s right to wear what she wanted.
Therefore, if people did not approve of her attire, then there would be no reason for them to adopt such a style. But to tell others on how they should dress was something that had gotten on the nerves of some fans.
One user stated: “If the bride herself doesn’t gaf why do you care? relax.” Regardless of what you think about what Kendall was wearing, the very fact of the matter is that Lauren was not phased by it.
