Chris Noth will reportedly not be present during the season finale of the ‘Sex And The City’ spin-off entitled ‘And Just Like That.’

Chris Noth Has Been Removed From The ‘Sex And The City’ Spin-Off Finale

This is hardly a surprise especially in light of the sexual assault allegations that have been directed against the actor. Reports indicate that a total of 4 women have come out to accuse him of such an assault.

Although Chris has denied doing anything of the sort, the very fact of the matter is that he has become a victim of the so-called cancel culture movement.

This has been seen through various brands that have distanced themselves from Chris which included none other than a commercial he had film with Ryan Reynolds and an exercise company called Peloton after they decided to cut him from the commercial.

Prior to these accusations emerging, it was suggested that Chris’ character would come in the finale, despite having died in the opening episode, in a fantasy dream-state montage.

If these comments are taken to be true, it follows in the footsteps of another high-profile TV show that decided to cut Chris. He had also recently been let go by the CBS hit drama entitled ‘The Equalizer.’

And yet, looking back, it is hardly surprising to hear this when we look at the statements that were made from some of the stars from the show following the initial claims.

In a joint statement in response, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis had stated the following: “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth.

“We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences.” The response on social media, however, was one of concern.

A certain subset of people felt that Chris should not be cancelled until an investigation concludes that he was guilty. One person on Twitter wrote: “This is wrong. Cancel culture must be canceled.”

While another person remarked: “Let me say this again: the world has gone mad. A man can lose a lot because he said “you look beautiful today, Miss” to his kindergarten teacher!”

So should Chris be removed from the finale? If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish. Please also visit The Go To Family for all of the latest exciting news on all of your favourite daytime television soaps.
