There’s perhaps no harshest way to break things off with someone these days than to unfollow them on social media. And that’s exactly what Britney Spears just did to her sister. There are new reports that say the chart topper apparently “unfollowed” her baby sister Jamie Lynn Spears on Instagram. Here’s what you need to know.
It looks like Britney might be “cleaning up” her social media by unfollowing those who she doesn’t seem worthy of an Instagram like anymore. However, it does appear as though Jamie Lynn is still following Britney. The ‘Toxic’ singer currently follows 46 people, including fiancé Sam Asghari, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Madonna and Tinashe.

Back in July of last year, Britney ripped both her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears along with her sister Jamie Lynn in a scathing and profanity-laced Instagram post. “My so-called support system hurt me deeply !!!!,” the post read. “This conservatorship killed my dreams … so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill … yet people still try !!!!”
She added: “I didn’t like the way the documentaries bring up humiliating moments the past … I’m way past all that and have been for a long time !!!! And for women who say it’s weird the way I still have hope for fairy tales … go f–k yourself!!!
It was also reported over the summer that a company that appears to belong to Britney Spears apparently paid for a Florida condo that Jamie Lynn frequents quite often. According to reports, tax records show Bridgemore Timber LLC purchased a condo located in Destin, Fla. That has an estimated value of a little over $1 million. In Britney’s conservatorship, a “condominium located in Florida” is listed as one of her assets.
The condominium in a dual-towered complex was purchased for $920,000 in 2001 under an LLC, when Britney was just 20. The Bridgemore Timber LLC and its assets, including a “condominium located in Florida,” are owned by “the Conservatee” Britney Spears, according to May 2009 conservatorship filings.
The 3,650-square-foot condo built in 1983 is not believed to be Jamie Lynn’s primary address, though she has visited the $1.01 million-assessed condominium on several documented occasions.
