Last week, the entire Britney Army was outraged to see that Jamie Spears was filing a petition with the LA County Court to get daughter Britney Spears, who was held for 13 years under a meritless conservatorship, to continue to pay his legal fees.
He claimed that the legal fees have to do with his ongoing fiduciary commitments in winding up the conservatorship, but Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, has a few things to say about that.

He says since the conservatorship has been dissolved and Jamie Spears suspended as conservator, that his petition is legally meritless and that it’s an “abomination”, and it is. He went on to say that no Father does this to their daughter and he’s right – they don’t.
Most parents like making their own money and supporting their children, not the other way around. But Jamie Spears seems to be the exception to this rule. Rosengart points out that while Jamie Spears was a conservator, he made milions of dollars, charged his daughter $1200 per hour to maintain this conservatorship. That’s more than most doctors make, can you imagine making that for maintaining your own kid?
While in theory, that would be nice, the thoughts of enslaving one’s own child generally stop most parents short of even wanting such a thing, but not Jamie Spears! The question is, where did all the millons he earned as Britney’s conservator over the years actually go?
Certainly, he couldn’t have spent all that money, it’s just not possible for one person to have spent all that money, unless he made nefarious business deals and now owes tons of money elsewhere, which seems to be on-brand for someone like Jamie Spears. However, that’s just speculation and we have no proof of that.
It will be interesting to see if there is any forensic accounting done and just what amounts of money went to where. Is Britney’s money actually in Panama and does Jamie Spears know the whereabouts? We wonder.
