We knew it had to happen sometime but it looks like Britney Spears has said “out with the old and in with the new” and tossed sister Jamie Lynn out like a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree! She unfollowed her on Instagram. Why? Well, why not? It’s pretty obvious whose side that Jamie Lynn is on and whose side she’s been on this entire time.
Britney said over and over again in her posts in 2021 that her family had hurt her deeply and it was not just one post, there were multiple posts alluding to the fact that her family had hurt her. Something must have gone down in the DMs for Britney to just completely unfollow Jamie Lynn though, and honestly, that sounds about right.

Of course, that is just speculation. Those of us with families know that sometimes the holidays can sometimes bring out the worst in people and it’s not uncommon to have a holiday spat that goes all the way into the New Year.
This has been broiling for months, Britney’s family life has been… well… pretty horrible. So it’s not hard to imagine that things could have been said either over DM, on the phone, or even in real life that prompted this unfollowing. But there also could be other reasons.
That other reason could be the fact that Jamie Lynn Spears is really tight with Britney’s former business manager, an entity that helped engineer the 13 year-long hell her life was in. Also, there is a chance that that former business manager could have access to Jamie Lynn’s social media.
So the less connected to them through any kind of social media, the better. Also, Britney’s birthday came and went and Jamie Lynn didn’t say a word, but when Britney was still under the conservatorship she made sure to post (or at least have someone post for her) birthday wishes for her.
So it’s pretty clear who is mad at who. Why would Jamie Lynn be angry at her sister for finally getting to live her own life? Probably the same reason her Dad is angry at Britney, it all boils down to the almighty dollar.
However, now Britney can live free on Instagram and not have to worry about her little sister spying on her and probably reporting back to her former business manager about anything she posts, or possibly said business manager logging in and seeing things that Britney didn’t want them to see.
There is also a chance that Britney’s lawyer Matthew Rosengart told her to go no contact because it would be better for any sort of case that way. Just food for thought. Then again it could just be a conflict between sisters. Stay tuned!!!
