Amazon is working on a new documentary featuring one of the most popular TLC families, The Duggars. This documentary will help to expose some of the family secrets that not everyone got a chance to see on the show. Amazon Studios announced this week that they were working on the new documentary that would expose the Duggar family and a lot of their deepest secrets. These are the same film makers as those who made the LuLaRoe docuseries.
The Duggars: The Beliefs of the Duggars
The Duggars have some very strong beliefs and this documentary will break down these beliefs. They will focus on the Basic Life Principles and how the Duggars worship. This family has been involved in plenty of scandals and this documentary will expose them all! This documentary, that has not been named yet, is being made by The Cinemart, Story Force, Chick Entertainment, and Amazon Studios.
The Duggars: New Documentary Reveals Secrets
The press release for the new documentary read, “On the heels of Josh Duggar’s explosive criminal trial, the untitled project will expose shocking connections between some of reality television’s most famous large families and The Institute in Basic Life Principles, a controversial fundamentalist organization and homeschooling empire. In addition, prominent commentators, writers, and social media voices will explore the broader zeitgeist of reality television, social media, faith, fundamentalism, patriarchy, and power.”
This documentary will show us all a lot more of the Duggars and we will be able to see more of what they are really like. This documentary will be a deep dive like no other and we think that there will be some hints about what happened during the trial and what will happen next with Anna Duggar, Josh’s wife. The Duggars may not be the only Christian fundamentalist family to appear on the show either.
This documentary may feature other famous fundamentalists such as the Bates and the Plaths. These two families also have made quite a name for themselves on TLC and have gotten quite the following from fans.
It looks like Amazon is going to add more documentaries and series to their streaming service and this has made subscribers incredibly excited to see what they bring next to the service. Who knows what other fundamentalist families we will see on Amazon.
