In the new Gabby Petito documentary on Peacock, “The Murder of Gabby Petito: Truth, Lies, and Social Media” revealed some new truths about Brian Laundrie that had not been covered before. Of course, the Laundries themselves did not speak out, saying that they were still grieving and wanted privacy at this time.
Okay, fair, but their neighbors were speaking out and what they revealed about Brian Laundrie wasn’t so flattering at all.
New details about Brian Laundrie surface in Peacock’s Gabby Petito Documentary
When it was discovered that Brian Laundrie had died, the lawyer said that in the days leading up to his disappearance that he was ‘grieving’ and obviously upset, but his neighbors, people who were actually there and watching the house, told quite a different story.
They said that in the days leading up to Brian’s disappearance that Brian was running errands for his parents, cutting grass, and getting on with life as per usual. There was none of this ‘grieving’ that their lawyer talks about.
Of course, he could have just been hiding it well, since it seemed he hid so many things well in life, but it also gives a chilling picture of just what the days leading up to his disappearance and subsequent death were like.
People have speculated that the Laundries knew something had happened to Gabby and that was the reason why they weren’t answering calls. Gabby’s Mother recounts in the documentary that she knew Gabby was gone when she heard that Brian was back down in Florida with his family with the van and Gabby was not with them.
The documentary touches on this as well, wondering why on earth the Laundries wouldn’t at least answer Gabby’s Mother’s calls and let her know that they hadn’t seen her, or if Brian had told them that they had broken up, where Gabby might be. Knowing that he was down in Florida, hanging out with his nephews at a campsite and doing daily chores like nothing had happened really paints a grim picture of what that family truly thought of Gabby and what Brian’s true feelings might have been.
When her family was asked about Brian and Gabby’s plans to get married, they said that they weren’t going to talk about it… and… no one can blame them, truly. We wonder if the Laundries ever will speak, and when that will be. Stay tuned!!!
