Britney Spears has once again taken to her social media accounts to praise fellow chart topper Lady Gaga for helping her speak her truth, but only after she slammed fellow pop starlet Christina Aguilera for keeping quiet on her end. Britney Spears took to her Instagram account to show her appreciation for Lady Gaga after she publicly supported and celebrated the end of Brit’s conservatorship. This comes after Christina Aguilera declined to make any comments about it.
Britney Spears Sends A Message To Lady Gaga After Slamming Christina Aguilera
“Thank you @ladygaga for genuinely taking your time to say something so kind,” Spears wrote on her Instagram Story on Friday night. “You made me cry !!!” Spears added. “I love you !!!”
Soon after, Lady Gaga shared a selfie in bed with the caption, “Love you @britneyspears Live your best life. I prayed for the legal system to treat you like a person. You’ve now changed the course for women in this industry forever. You stood up for yourself and were so brave. Thank you.”
Just last week, Christina was asked on the red carpet if she had any communication with Britney after her recent emancipation from her conservatorship. Christina cut off the reporter by saying, “No, I’m sorry, we’re not doing that tonight, thank you though, bye!”
She then added “but I’m happy for her!” This, apparently, was not enough of an answer for Britney Spears who is finally living the life she’s wanted after her 13-year conservatorship ended last month.
