CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for some interesting tension in Genoa City as a couple of storylines are coming to a head.
Nothing like doing what one thinks is best to bring all sorts of different responses, and this episode has some fun potential.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 9: Victor’s too stubborn
After making her argument with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and it falling on deaf ears, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will shift her attention to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
She’ll already know this won’t work, but Nikki will try to appeal to Victor’s compassion for his daughter and new son in law.
Victor will, unfortunately, be his usual stubborn self as he looks to go after the Newman Boogeyman one final time.
He’ll feel he’s finally got Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and he won’t give it up for friends or family.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 9: Putting distance between them
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will look to help Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) the only way he can anymore, and that’s to push her away and force her to talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Him trying to distance himself from her won’t go over well with Phyllis, and she’ll probably take it as some type of betrayal.
It’ll lead to a huge fight, or almost one, and Jack will try to reassure her he’s giving her the space she needs to work things out with Nick.
The more Jack’s in the picture, the more he’ll feel like a safety blanket and she won’t want to confront her problems head on. So, he’s hoping this will do the trick.
But can Phyllis make it work?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 9: Devon blows his top
With Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) reaching new levels of erratic behavior, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will finally have enough.
The thing is, ‘Young and the Restless’ don’t think he’ll direct his outburst at Abby, but at Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) for leaving her all those months ago when she needed him most.
Of course, he could also turn on Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) for offering to look after Dominic. He could think she’s using the situation to get the baby closer to her and he’s not entirely wrong.
But Abby will appreciate her offer and defend her to Devon to a degree.
