Hilaria Baldwin has spoken about how she is looking to surround her husband Alec Baldwin with as much family as possible in order to help him get through the recent trauma he has been going through.

Alec’s life changed dramatically following his prop gun incident on the set of ‘Rust’ which led to the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and the injury to director Joel Souza.
As a consequence, an investigation has begun to try and hold those who were responsible for the lack of safety to account. In and amongst that, there has been criticism directed towards Alec.
That is why Hilaria wants a strong support network in place, so he can stay in a positive frame of mind. In a post to her fans on social media, she said: “The more I heal, the more convinced I am that the greatest tool to heal is people.
“People who sit with us in our darkest hours. People who hear us when we cry for help. People who hold space & remind us we’re not alone.”
Although Alec may not be showing any outward signs of suffering, it is clear that he is not in the best possible state. Following his recent public statement, Alec was visibly annoyed with his wife, Hilaria, who had tried to mediate over what he should be saying to the media.
In addition, during that conversation, he admitted that the thought of acting was not something going through his mind. Therefore, it is understandable that he is not sure what he should be doing going forward.
And this is something that Hilaria is fully aware of. She added: “It can be difficult for a trauma survivor to ask for help. We are often stuck in a cycle believing we had bad stuff happen to us because we are bad people.
“What we need most is validation.” Alec will need all the support that he can benefit from. After all, he may have lost some friends within the acting industry following this incident.
But when it comes to family, there will always be there to make sure that he is fine. And with Hilaria, he has a person who can do just that.
