Angelina Jolie is someone who doesn’t play around, especially when it comes to guns, and she thinks you shouldn’t, too. The actress spoke out about Alec Baldwin’s recent on-set tragedy, in which he accidentally killed the director of photography, Halyna Hutchins, with a prop gun.
Angelina says that she is always careful whenever she’s using guns on the set of her films and she even admitted to keeping a gun in the house back in 2008 when she was still married to Brad Pitt. Here’s what she has to say.

In an interview with The Times, Angelina, said there are certain procedures that have to be taken very seriously when working with guns. She put it this way, “I’ve always been very careful because I’ve had to work with guns a lot. The way I’ve worked or checked when I’m directing, there are certain procedures. You have to take it very seriously.”
But back in 2008 she said, “Brad and I are not against having a gun in the house, and we do have one. And yes, I’d be able to use it if I had to… If anybody comes into my home and tries to hurt my kids, I have no problem shooting them.”
Halyna Hutchins, 42, was shot by Alec Baldwin and later died from her injuries at a nearby hospital. This comes after reports said that Alec was “hysterical and absolutely inconsolable for hours” after he killed Haylna.
No one was arrested in the incident, and no charges have been filed, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s office but it does remain under investigation at press time.
