As much as he probably wants this to all go away or at least shoved under a rug, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon. However, there is a new report that says Prince Andrew can now see the confidential papers his accuser Virginia Giuffre signed with disgraced but also dead financier Jeffrey Epstein. Here’s what you need to know.

According to reports, Prince Andrew’s lawyers believe that the confidential papers that Virginia signed might prevent legal action against him. Virginia, who is suing the royal and accusing him of sexually assaulting her when she was 17, signed confidential papers in 2009 with Epstein – her former employer and a convicted sex offender.

Yet, Prince Andrew’s legal team believes these documents Virginia signed in return for a payment prevented her from taking any future legal action – such as the one she is bringing against the Duke of York. Hollywood lawyer Andrew Brettler, believes the document might become a key part of Andrew’s defence case.

Virginia alleges the 61-year-old prince forced her to have sex when she was underage at the London home of the late Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

She also accused the prince of abusing her around the same time at Epstein’s homes in New York City and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It looks like everyone and anyone connected to Prince Andeew – including his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson – are going to be dragged into this mess with him.

Bradley Simon, a former federal prosecutor in New York, told The Sunday Telegraph, “They’re going to ask for a kitchen sink. They’re going to seek every correspondence, phone logs, emails, diaries. They’re going to go after people who were with him. It’s going to be open season.”
