On 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, we have seen some trying times with Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh. Jenny moved her entire life to India so that she could be with Sumit and from the looks of it, things aren’t moving in the direction that Jenny would like. She is ready for Sumit to marry her, but he still has yet to get the approval of his parents and he always told Jenny that he can’t marry her without their blessing.
90 Day Fiancé: Why Won’t He Move?
There are plenty of viewers out there that just don’t understand why he won’t move to America to be with Jenny. It seems like things would be much easier for them if he did. They have been on three seasons of the show and each season we think that they will marry, but they never do. Their storyline has gotten a little boring for some viewers and they just want them to get marry already. Jenny continues to beg and plead with Sumit to marry her.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way – Sumit Singh Will Never Move to America
Fans think that Sumit is just lying about hs intentions and that he is just stringing her along, for whatever reasons. Jenny has even mentioned taking Sumit to America. “His mother told me, at that time, to take him to America to marry him in America because she didn’t want to see the marriage in front of her.” So what is keeping them from doing so?
Jenny has made it clear that she and Sumit are having financial problems and that is one of the reasons that she wanted to be on the show. She has been flying back and forth every six months when her visa expires.
The couple is simply living off the money she makes off the show and her social security checks, which can’t be much. If they moved to America, things wouldn’t be the best for them since Jenny sold all of her possessions and sleeps on her daughter’s couch when she visits. Is this the life they want in America?
Sumit is very attached to his family and has never wanted a green card out of all of this. Jenny has always said that he never wanted to leave India and that is where they will stay. This doesn’t help the issues with her visa though and she is tired of paying for the flights back and forth from India. We aren’t sure if she always goes back to America, but traveling every six months is quite expensive, especially for someone who isn’t working.
