‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that star Henry Joseph Samiri is as adorable as he is talented. However, after carrying a crucial storyline on his back for months (and months), Douglas Forrester has not been seen much on B&B screen.
However, when the 7 year old little star wasn’t on set, he didn’t just rest on his laurels- he was out there on the audition circuit and as a result, will soon be spreading his wings in a new, yet to be named drama for Freeform.

Described as a Hitchcockian nanny drama, Henry’s new character, Jasper will share some similarities with Douglas. Described as “a shy, sad child who’s still reeling from the recent death of his mother, Jasper has trouble trusting anyone.” Step in Elena, his new nanny to be played by Andrea Londo (of Narcos fame) who makes Jasper feel safe again and we get to see “the smart, funny, independent kid he really is.”
As imagined, the actor is very excited about landing the plum role, announcing on his Instagram, “Here it is. So excited to announce what I’ve been working on! It’s a wonderful script with a truly wonderful cast! Thank you to all of the people who helped to make this opportunity a reality and for everyone who supports me on this journey. It is not taken for granted! Thank you to the best team @robinweinsteinloehr and @coasttocoasttalent.”
While we are beyond happy for the rest of the world to discover Samiri’s talents, its likely that this could mean goodbye to Douglas Forrester as we know him.
Presumably, now that Douglas has played the pivotal role of outing Phoebe as Beth, its safe to assume he will be SORASed so that his character may again take on another meaty storyline. This would be good timing for head writer, William Bell to recast the 7 year old for a young teen or similar.
We’d hate the pint sized star go, so here’s hoping he can continue in both roles. Either way. we can’t wait to see what lies ahead of the talent little boy’s future
