‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show there’s been a lot of talk about Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) mentor from his past. Apparently, she was an older woman and ended up dying. Shortly after, Ashland Locke bought her two companies. This had led to many questions.

Lately, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) have all been digging into Ashland’s past, looking for anything that may stick out, and they’ve all landed on this older mentor. So, is there a possibility that Ashland killed her, took her money, and bought the two companies for himself?

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Did Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) Kill His Mentor For Her Money?

If there was going to be something dark, I think this would be truly something. First, there was the big question on whether or not he was faking his illness, no there’s this random mentor and we have no idea what it could mean! Though, it does seem like the writers are trying to allude to something.

Perhaps he didn’t kill her, but if she was older, maybe she passed from natural causes and he got the companies because they had a secret wedding! Oh, I kind of like that idea. What if Ashland was secretly married to this woman and to hide the fact, he purchased the companies with her cash after the fact instead of them just “passing onto him”.

What if this is the same exact plan he’s pulling now on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)! What if she’s the next “mentor” and he’s going to acquire the companies after killing her! Should Victoria keep her head on a swivel!

What do you think? What happened between Ashland Locke and his mentor? Was there foul play or is everyone sniffing up the wrong tree? Let us know in the comments below.
