Tyler Cameron, who is best known for appearing on The Bachelorette, has given his fans an insight into his views on Matt James’ beard.

The duo have been friends for a prolonged period of time and have made it no secret, given the number of photos they have posted of each other on their respective social media handles. While Tyler does hold Matt in high regard, there is one thing that he does not want Matt to do: that is to shave his beard.
Following the latter stages of The Bachelorette, Matt decided to don his famous bushy beard. It split the fanbase, with some suggesting that Matt had gained depression, which was the reason for his beard, due to the fact that it coincided with the Rachael Kirkconnel scandal. Having said all that, Tyler is a huge fan.
In an interview with Cheddar News, Tyler said: “I used to be against the beard. I was like, ‘What are you doing, Matt?’ But now, I like the beard because I look back on old pictures of him, and he looks kind of creepy without it.” Matt, to his credit, has continued to keep the beard in the aftermath of the show.
That did not stop him from teasing the fans with it, though. During the recent April Fools’ day, Matt decided to joke with his fans and convince them that he had shaved his beard. In a post at the time, he remarked: “It was time. Beard…April FOOLS! #beardGANG,” as he switched from a shaven face to his beard.
Despite the fondness for the beard, fans have urged Matt to shave it off. They have felt that it has taken them away from the Matt they had gotten so used to on the show, who had been donning a stubble.
In a post on Twitter, one user stated: “I don’t hate it. I just don’t like it at all, and it’s terrible. On a scale of Matt James’ beard to the segment on Matt James kissing with his eyes open, how deep is the hole you want to crawl into?” So where do you stand: beard or no beard.
