‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that while all the different story lines are going on, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) continues to be a name the writers like throwing around to remind us of what we’re missing. The character went on a “secret mission” months and months ago and now all we ever hear is his name thrown in once in a while, especially from Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Chance was a fan favorite and one that everyone wants to see come back, however, it’s unlikely that’s going to happen. So, what’s their plan with the character and what will happen to him?

Our best guess is that they’re going to kill Chance off somehow, which would be a gigantic slap in the face and one that many viewers would find to be a terrible end to the character that they enjoyed. However, if they’re not going to replace the actor or bring him back, what other option do they have?
Every time Abby talks about him, I think we all feel a little cheated that we lost out on a deeper story between him and Abby and their baby. If they are going to kill him off, we would need a hell of an explanation and story. One where he saved an entire building of people from a fire, or a city from being blown up. It would have to be huge, and do justice to the character that they never did before.
Right now, it feels like they’re teasing us along, throwing his name in once in a while to make us remember what we lost.
