Jason Alexander, who happened to be the ex-husband of Britney Spears for only a staggering 55 hours, has confirmed how her conservatorship team ultimately put an end to their marriage.

Britney, for her part, has now moved on with her current boyfriend, Sam Ashgari. Prior to this, however, her life could have taken on a different turn. Jason admitted how he was made to sign some documents that would end their marriage.
In doing so, there was an agreement that he would be allowed to pursue a relationship with Britney. Going forward, though, things did not turn out the way that Jason envisaged or was promised. During an interview on the ‘Toxic: The Britney Spears Story’ podcast, Jason opened up on how the whole scenario played out.
He said: “They told me if I would sign the contracts — the annulment — they would let me and Britney continue our relationship, and if we felt the same way in six months, they would give us a proper marriage.” So how did it all turn out? Well, as could be expected, not very well. After signing the documents, Jason continued to pursue a relationship with Britney.
Things were going swimmingly and looked to be plain sailing until the unthinkable happened. He was no longer able to touch base with her, which left him looking for many answers. He added: “I remember trying to call the number I had for Britney, and it was like, ‘Beep, beep, beep [imitating a disconnected sound]. I’m like, ‘F—k, they got me! Motherf–ker!’ So, that was it.”
Despite the horror that Jason went through, he is still on good terms with Britney. He has spoken in the past about how she is still in touch with him, and by the sounds of it, Jason has promised to be there for her too.
And with Sam having no animosity towards it, this can only be to the benefit of Britney. In a prior statement, Jason stated: “I’m here to show support for the #FreeBritney movement and Britney. This is an unfortunate situation that’s been in her life for a long time. It’s affected me and her, and that makes me part of it.”
