Aly Raisman has finally rediscovered her dog, Mylo, after it had gone missing.
Aly Raisman Is Reunited With Her Lost Dog
The star had a mixed Independence Day celebration earlier this month. While the festivities had gotten her understandably excited, it was clouded by the sad news of her dog going missing. But now that she has been reunited with Mylo, Aly can continue to enjoy making some memories with the pooch.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Aly shared a picture of herself with Mylo as she is taking him for a walk alongside some other dog walkers. She has a huge smile on her face, as she cannot contain her happiness. The post was captioned with the following comments: “HEROES. I HAVE HIM. MYLO IS SAFE. THANK YOU, Carla, Gayle & her sweet dog. Will share more soon but for now, going to snuggle with my everything.”
The news got her fellow gymnasts excited. McKayla Maroney wrote: “So happy,” while Laurie Hernandez stated: “YES!!! MY WHOLE HEART.” The good news was down to the hard work that Aly and her fans had put in so as to track down Mylo.
Immediately after Mylo had gone missing, Aly put out a call to action in order to locate her dog. Given that it had run away because of the presence of fireworks, she put out a special appeal to approach Mylo with caution, especially since the dog could have become aggressive.
And her advice clearly worked wonders. In a post at the time of Mylo’s disappearance, Aly told her fans the following: “Please do not go out and actively search for Mylo….the folks at Missing Dogs Mass advised that we don’t have anyone yelling his name… I was told that scared dogs would make bad decisions if they are pressured.”
Those who were responsible for finding Mylo are in line for a huge reward. Aly previously spoke on how she would offer a reward to the person who had managed to track down Mylo and bring him back home. It is great to see Aly finally having her dog back, and there is no doubt that we will see more of Mylo on her social media.
