Jana Kramer has opened up on whether she would consider getting married once again in the aftermath of her split from Mike Caussin.
Jana Kramer Has Not Ruled Out Getting Married Again
Jana decided to file for divorce, as she could no longer tolerate Mike’s unfaithfulness. Although she shared two children with him, she decided that it was best to part ways in order to protect herself and her kids. Having said all that, she does not regret the relationship.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, she revealed how she still supports the idea of marriage. She said: “Yeah because I still believe in [marriage]. I don’t think I would have a wedding. I would just elope. Just me, the person, the kids on a beach somewhere with the sunset.”
The singer/actress, though, is no stranger to the concept of being married. She has walked down the aisle on two other occasions. In 2004, she decided to marry Michael Gambino. However, that relationship would soon turn sour as they decided to get divorced a year later.
Her second attempt, equally, turned out to be unsuccessful. In 2010, she tied the knot with Johnathon Schaech. This time the results were even worse as they split up after only 12 days. And yet, Jana downplayed the negative impact of those relationships.
She added: “The first [marriage] was when I was 19, and it was [by] Elvis, and no one knew until he tried to kill me. And the second was, like, a week. I hardly call any of those a marriage.” Despite things ending badly with Mike, Jana felt that she did everything in her power to make the marriage work.
After all, she did forgive Mike on numerous occasions when he had cheated on her. And she is hoping that by putting in all the effort, she will finally strike gold by finding the person that is most suitable for her.
She continued: “What I do call a marriage is putting in the time to fight for it, and I did that the last time. And one day, I believe I’ll end up with the one I’ve always meant to be with. [Someone] to fight for and [who will] respect our marriage.”
