‘Doubling Down with the Derricos’ Spoilers reveal that Grandma GG has made it known that taking care of 14 children on the daily is taking it’s physical toll on her. She said that as long as she has her strength and has breath in her body that she will help Karen and son Deon Derrico out with their children.
However, she has said that she gets out of breath easily and is in pain and she’s not sure what is causing that. Deon thought initially that it could just be resentment that she just didn’t want to take care of anymore babies, but that wasn’t the case, Grandma GG is physically just worn out and sounds like she could be suffering from something more serious than what she’s letting on.

Last year there was talk of the Derrico’s hiring a nanny, and they did interview several, but the thing is most Nannies aren’t equipped (or licensed) to handle more than 6 children at once, usually, and the Derrico’s have 8 more than any state licensed nanny is qualified to care for.
I’m pretty sure that the question of hiring two nannies would be out of the question, even if the Derrico’s were millionaires, but when you have half small daycare in your household what can you do? They have relied on Grandma GG and the honorary Derrico, Eric, for awhile now. But it looks like they may need to bring in a 3rd party for their crew.
They’ve already made it clear that they don’t want to put the burden of taking care of children on Darian, she’s only 13 and they want her to develop normally, which is a good thing, however it looks like they might need to hire someone part time to help them care for that many kids.
The thing is, will they or is this just not feasible right now? The Nanny topic kind of dried up once Grandma GG moved in, but now that her health is getting in way then they might have to admit defeat and hire someone… the question is, will they? Stay tuned!!!
