‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) only has around six months left to live. After his heart attack, the doctors found spots on his screenings and identified it. Turns out, it was the worst news he could have heard.
While on his trip with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), he explained his condition and she was very worried. Though it perfectly explains why he has given up the fight for custody over Harrison, as he could not begin to fathom dropping this on his son.

Unfortunately, a lot of fans are not looking forward to seeing Ashland leave the show, as he’s become something of a fan favorite. While he started off his run as the diabolical evil man, over time he’s become a lot more of an empathic character and one that many people can relate to.
A lot of people (including myself) have even compared him to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and had we seen Victor going through what Ashland is, we’d be on his side 100%. It also looks like Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) has been scheming herself, and in fact, she is the trouble maker here.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) already seems to be on to her, but will Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) be able to see through their love for Harrison?
