Divorce speculation is at an all-time high in regards to Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott after fans have noted several suspicious instances of Tori freezing Dean out and vice versa.
The first alarm bells rang when Dean was left out of the Spelling-McDermott family Christmas card in 2020. The card was a picture of Tori and her five kids: Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn and Beau with Good Riddance scrawled along the bottom.
Fans were quick to think this was a divorce announcement, but then read further to see the year 2020…and that the family was saying sayonara to a particularly difficult year for the entire world. Tori was holding Dean’s head shot in the picture and explained his absence by saying he was in Canada.
Hmmm, okay, we’ll give her the benefit of the doubt so far.
Social media sleuths were the next to ring alarm bells, noticing that Tori had deleted “wife” off of her Instagram bio. It now reads, “Actress/Mother/Writer/DIYer.” Dean’s still reads : Married to the love of my life Tori Spelling ❤️.
On a March 2021 podcast that Tori cohosts with former 90210 costar, Jennie Garth, Jennie began to gush over all of her husband, Dave Abrams attributes. Tori remained zipped lipped, not giving Dean any praise…but no complaints either. He simply wasn’t mentioned at all.
Later that same month, Tori was spotted at a Farmers Market in California, kids in tow but no husband and no wedding ring.
Now we are warming up.
When yet another holiday passed, Easter, without any sign of patriarch, Dean, fans really began to worry. Tori shared plenty of photos of her large brood, but again, it was like the name Dean was unfamiliar to the actress.
But it is May that is the big moth for Tori. It is the month of Mother’s Day, her birthday and her wedding anniversary. Yet Tori and Dean’s social media shows ZERO messages to or from each other.
Dean is advertising his services to send personalized Mother’s Day messages for a price, yet he did not bother to give his wife any public accolades for bearing 5 of his 6 kids. Sources say he was at a Mother’s Day celebration, but he didn’t make it into any of Tori’s snaps or comments.
Tori’s May 16 birthday past, again without any public acknowledgment from Dean on his social media and the biggie- their 15th wedding anniversary on May 7 was not addressed publicly at all. By either of them.
The two have famously had their ups and downs throughout their marriage, with Dean’s admitted infidelity and candor about having a hard time with keeping it in his pants, er, monogamy.
