Keleigh Sperry, who happens to be the wife of Miles Teller, has spoken out on the terrible ordeal in which her husband was attacked during their vacation in Hawaii.

The duo had been enjoying a much-needed getaway alongside their close pals Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley. Naturally, the vacation was clouded by a moment that will live long in the memory-albeit for the wrong reasons. During a post to her fans on Instagram, Keleigh outlined the exact nature of events.
She said: “Miles was jumped by two men we have never met after they trapped him in a bathroom. It seems these same men have done this to many people, and we appreciate your support.” So what could have led to this happening? TMZ had claimed that the perpetrator and Miles had gotten into a heated argument prior to entering the bathroom.
This was because of an alleged failure, on Miles’ part, to pay for his wedding costs that amounted to $60,000. Although Miles has refused to comment on this, Keleigh put the fans out of their misery. She denied that this was true and was very vocal, especially since it was her wedding. She added: “Completely false.”
That has left fans wondering what could have been the motivation behind the attack? After all, it does seem to be out of the blue. Just prior to it happening, the couple were enjoying some food together. Then as Miles went to go to the restroom, it all kicked off. That is why an investigation is underway to find the source of the motivation.
In an official statement given by Maui Police Department, a spokesman stated: “I can confirm…police responded to a report of an assault that occurred at a West Maui restaurant involving a male victim and one responsible party. The incident is currently under investigation.”
Regardless of the reason, it is probably wise that the couple take a step out of the spotlight. They have had a difficult vacation and will need the support of their family/friends to make sure that they are ok. With Aaron and Shailene by their side, they should be fine.
