Miles Teller has reportedly been assaulted amid his vacation in Hawaii, as he was relaxing with his best friends Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley.

According to TMZ, the incident occurred at a restaurant as Miles had some food with his wife, Keleigh Sperry. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until the unthinkable had happened. During a customary bathroom break, a man out of nowhere decided to punch Miles in the bathroom. And apparently, this was after they had gotten into a heated argument just before they entered the restroom.
Miles, for his part, kept his cool as he did not respond in kind. Instead, he stated that he would be pressing charges. In an official statement given by the Maui Police Department, a spokesman revealed that an investigation had already begun: “I can confirm…police responded to a report of an assault that occurred at a West Maui restaurant involving a male victim and one responsible party.
“The incident is currently under investigation.” So what could have led to the dispute? TMZ went on to claim that it was a longstanding dispute involving Miles and the other man who happened to be a wedding planner. The latter had apparently alleged that Miles still owed him $60,000 for wedding preparations he had carried out in 2009, during his marriage to Keleigh.
Miles has not addressed these accusations, but if they were proven to be true, then this case is in for the long haul. Just as this incident spoiled it for Miles, it clearly had an impact on Aaron and Shailene. They have not commented on it, which is understandable in light of the investigation. However, looking back at Shailene’s closeness with the couple, there is no doubt that she is thinking of them.
She previously spoke on how she admired Miles and Keleigh’s relationship as an example of what a happy marriage should look like. In a prior interview with Vanity Fair, she said: “I look at Miles and, like, I’m sort of Julia Roberts in the same way she is to [George Clooney].”
