Netflix’s ‘Sweet Tooth’ made waves when it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. would be prodcuting this DC product. However, what’s more important and beautiful is the story of ‘Sweet Tooth’ and the perilous adventure that a half-human/half-deer goes on to try to insure his safety as a hybrid.

Viewers commented on the trailer, “Hoping this adaptation doesn’t stray too far from the source material”, “Sweet Tooth” live action series. Yes, I’m in.”, “once upon a time, bad people ruled the earth, they were greedy and self destructive” hits hard when you realize it’s referring to us”, “Omg, Robert Downey Jr, and a heartwrenching, bittersweet apoclapytic story? This is an anxiously awaited adaptation and viewers are praying that it doesn’t stray too far from the books. However, in an interview, we did hear Robert Downey Jr. say that they scaled back on the dark elements a little bit to make it watchable by a larger audience. We’ll see how that ends up playing out.
Netflix’s ‘Sweet Tooth’ releases next month on June 4th.
