‘Counting On’ spoilers reveal that we’ve talked about how Josh Duggar molested his sisters when he was a minor and when the majority of them were still minors themselves. However, thanks to the youtube podcast, “I pray you put this journal away” we now have some special insight as to how the four Duggar girls were feeling when the first scandal broke, and just as we suspected, the face that the Duggars put on to Megyn Kelly and the rest of the world was just that, a face, the girls were actually really devastated in real life.

This podcast talks about how whenever he would see the girls at church they would be being consoled or comforted, and would get visibly upset everytime Josh was brought up. They were constantly crying, and having to be consoled but all Jim Bob could care about was that his son had ‘overcome satan’ and practically paraded him around like a trophy.

‘Counting On’: The torment of the Duggar girls

No word of them being consoled by Jim Bob, the man tasked with keeping them pure, if we’re going by what his beliefs would say, rather, he was too happy that his son was back home. I can almost guarantee you what was said in the conversations with the girls.

In the IBLP some believe that the more you are ‘persecuted’ means the greater the glory for God. The thing is, there’s no verse in the bible that says “Blessed are the rapists” and there’s no verse that says “woe be unto the victim that caused a brother to stumble” so Jim Bob really wasn’t celebrating a victory over satan as he was betraying his daughters for some political gain that was never going to come to fruition.

Jim Bob sold out his own daughters to boost his son’s reputation, but it was all for naught in the end because Josh ended up in a used car lot, not in some high political office as Jim Bob had hoped. The highest he got was political lobbyist, which is kind of insane if you think about it.

Why is it okay in this man’s belief system to lie and diminish the victim’s pain on national TV so that the con can walk free? I look forward to the court testimonies. Stay tuned!!!
