Jeremy Vuolo has spoken out in the aftermath of Josh Duggar’s arrest for crimes related to child pornography.

Things have been complicated further as Josh is the brother of his wife, Jinger Duggar. Familial loyalties were thrown out of the window, as Jeremy was very vocal about holding those responsible for such actions to account. In an interview with TODAY Parents, Jeremy demanded action. He said: “Like everyone else, we are absolutely horrified and want to see justice carried out.
“We are grateful for the authorities who work tirelessly to end child abuse.” Josh, for his part, denied that he had done anything wrong. In the meantime, he has submitted a not guilty plea to all charges. But of course, depending on whether there is any wrongdoing, Josh’s actions could lead to more trouble. If he were guilty of such crimes, and he entered a not guilty regardless, the sentence could be harsher.
And yet, admitting to such a crime is not the easiest thing to do in the world. After all, there would be no coming back from this. That is why Jeremy and Jinger have left it in the hands of the court. In a statement given by the couple on Instagram at the time, they said: “While this case must go through the legal system, we want to make it clear that we absolutely condemn any form of child abuse.”
On reflection, the charges were damning. Josh had been accused of downloading explicit sexual content and abuse all connected to young children. This was even more horrific in light of the fact that the family does not hide their ardent Christian beliefs. That is why any heinous actions should be condemned. And the family has vowed to support the investigation as much as possible.
The statement added: “[We] fully support authorities and judicial process in their pursuit of justice.” It is simply a case of waiting to see how this will all unravel. But one thing for sure is that Josh will not be the same after this scandal has concluded.
