The pair hooked up together at the back end of last year during the course of the pandemic. While the covid restrictions have placed a lot of pressure on couples around the world, Torrey and David have managed to become closer during this time. This has been evident by their social media activity. In a post to her fans on Instagram, we can see Torrey kissing David on the cheek.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Love him madly. My boyfriend’s team was playing in Cincinnati this weekend! The river walk was beautiful! Loved it!” How was the reaction of those close to the couple? Well, as could be expected, people were delighted. Margaret Colin stated: “Oh well, look at that…Home Run!,” while Rachel Melvin said: “Omg, this makes me SO happy! You have no idea how much my family LOVES him.”
Despite the apparent optimism, the pair have experienced their own share of pain. The couple arrive in this relationship after having gone through two failed romances. Torrey, for her part, had been with Will Estes. Their relationship had broken down, and rather than making a formal announcement, Torrey decided to remove all her social media posts concerning Will.
Clearly, she was looking to forget that Will ever existed. David, however, was married to Hyla Ross. Their relationship was much more significant since they had been married for around 15 years before finalising their divorce last year. Not only that, they had managed to raise three children together: Cole, Landri and Harper.
And yet, they have found something that has drawn them together: their desire to make a difference in the world and give back to the community. In a previous interview with Us Weekly, Torrey stated precisely what she wanted from her ideal partner. She said: “I don’t think I’d be able to connect with somebody who didn’t have a passion of either giving back or wanting to use their good to help the world in whatever way they could.”
