Sure, they couldn’t make their marriage work, but that doesn’t mean they can’t stay friends. Justin Theroux says that he is still friends with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and that they also often FaceTime each other to catch up. Here’s what he has to say.
In a new interview with Esquire Magazine, Justin said that he still communicated with Jennifer, three years after their divorce. He told the publication that they’ve not only remained friends, but that they also FaceTime and text one another.

While no one really knows what happened between Justin and Jennifer during their marriage, it sure didn’t last very long. Denying that they had a “dramatic split,” he added, “I’m sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship.”
Justin Theroux went on to note that he and Jennifer “can not be together and still bring each other joy and friendship.”
Either way, their friendship is still strong. “Also, she makes me laugh very, very hard. She’s a hilarious person,” he raved. “It would be a loss if we weren’t in contact, for me personally. And I’d like to think the same for her.”
Apparently, one of the many reasons why they decided to pull the plug on their marriage was simply because Justin just couldn’t get used to the West Coast lifestyle while Jennifer didn’t see herself living in New York City full time.
“Jennifer is more comfortable in Los Angeles with her close-knit group of friends. But Justin doesn’t feel as at home in LA, nor with Jennifer’s friends,” a source told us in February 2018. “He loves New York and the edgier crowd in the city.”
The source added, “As they spent more and more time apart, their problems became bigger.”
