It begins with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) proposing marriage to her own brother, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis). However, Tony has no idea that the person he thinks he is marrying, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), is actually Stacy in disguise. Elsewhere, it appears as though Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) has had enough of Eve Donovan (Kassie de Paiva) and all of her manipulations and is calling off their marriage. He wants to pull the plug on their relationship as soon as possible.

Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) are both preparing for the most important day of their lives. And while it might seem romantic from the outside, Stefan and Gabi are getting married in hopes that they can continue to have control of DiMera Enterprises. They have to work fast, knowing that Kristen – masked as Nicole – has some plans of her own.

Kristen’s happily ever after comes to a screeching halt when she realizes that Tony has pulled a fast one on Nicole. But that doesn’t seem to bother her too much as Nicole finally gets Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to climb into bed with her. Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) realizes that all is not right when she comes across something very interesting in Ted Laurent’s (Giles Marini) apartment. Could this be the beginning to the end of their romance? Not if Ted can do something about it.

Realizing that she can’t contain her true feelings anymore, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) decides that it’s time to come clean to her husband Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) about her feelings for Eric Vaughan (Greg Brady). Eric, however, has decided that it’s time to move on in his life. But that doesn’t mean Sarah’s troubles are over. Not only does Rex know that she’s been lusting after his own brother, but Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) can’t let go of her, either.
