Is Netflix Making a Documentary About The Bachelor’s Colton Underwood?

The Bachelor have uncovered a rumor that is a little…disturbing? Odd? All of the Above? Blind item gossip site Deux Moi recently had an anonymous source leak to them that Colton Underwood, of limited NFL success, a little better reality tv success and pretty piss-poor authoring success is teaming up with Netflix to make a documentary.

    The Bachelor: But…why?

There is pretty much zero news anywhere else on the interwebs about this possible partnership, but that isn’t a huge surprise seeing as DeuxMoi gets a lot of news in its infantile stage.

However, no matter how limited the information, the critics quickly came out to play, demanding Netflix cut ties with “the abuser.”

If you don’t generally follow news of Bachelors from 2 seasons prior, Colton and Cassie Randolph got together at the end of Season 23 after Cassie sent herself home but Colton wouldn’t take no for an answer

    The Bachelor: First red flag.

The pair were in a relationship for just about a year but after Cassie had nursed Colton back to health when he contracted Covid-19, she broke up with him. During this time Bachelor Nation’s most famous virgin (take that Ashley I) wrote a book about his Bachelor (and other?) experiences called ‘The First Time.’

It was after the split with Cassie, though, that things went off the rails and it is Colton’s stalking that has Cassie-stans crying foul at Netflix.

It soon became public knowledge that Cassie had a domestic violence prevention restraining order against Colton citing that he was stalking and harassing her. He had sent “unsettling texts”, placed a tracking device on her car and was accused of taking “obsessive” walks to her’s and her family’s homes where friends of Cassie spotted Colton outside the properties “at all hours of the night.”

The Bachelor: The girl swiped a 27 year old man’s v-card. Flag No.2 right there!

So, what exactly Netflix is planning to document about is a bit of a head-scratcher. It’s anyone’s guess why they’d want to give him a platform at all…other than his little bout of stalking, the guy is about as interesting to watch as the grass growing- they only need to go back to season 23 of The Bachelor to see that!
