Ashley Cain, known for being on ‘The Challenge’, has tragically revealed how his daughter Azaylia’s health is becoming critically worse.
Ashley Cain’s Daughter Has ‘Only Got One, Two Days To Live’
Azaylia is only 8-months old, but she has been plagued by a brain tumour that is putting her life at risk. During a post to his fans on Instagram, Ashley spoke on how his daughter’s days are numbered. He said: “At that point, obviously, our world came down. They think she’s only got one, two days to live.” Azaylia‘s problems were immediately identified, as doctors diagnosed her with Leukemia.
The news turned his world upside down, as what should have been a euphoric experience of having a child was turned into a battle to keep himself together. In a post on Instagram at the time, he said: “Yesterday I had to go through something no parent in the world should…I found out my beautiful daughter Azaylia Diamond Cain got diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of leukaemia [sic] which has come with many complications…LET’S GO CHAMP You CAN, and you WILL beat this!”
But things looked positive for Azaylia, given she underwent a stem cell procedure. After the initial optimism had died down, the worst was confirmed as the troubles resurfaced. Ashley revealed: “Today was supposed to be a day of unquestionable happiness. However, it turned out like most days on this journey: a miracle blindsided by heartbreak!”
The struggles have had a negative impact on Ashley’s mental health. While he has had his family around to support him, the continuous setbacks have been hard to take. But the resilience that his daughter has shown has kept him in good spirits. And that should be applauded. He noted: “The truth is, I don’t know what I will do without you.
“But for now, I find strength in giving you the best of me and the only me that you deserve! YOU’RE MY HERO! DADDY LOVES YOU!” Let us hope that Ashley and Azaylia can overcome this latest setback. They have come through so much, and their supporters will be there every step of the way for them.
