’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that for Brandon Gibb and Julia Trubkina, the day of reckoning has finally arrived. Instead of just shacking up in his parents place like they have been, they will now be a legally married couple. (Though honestly, I don’t see them leaving that farm anytime soon.)
Brandon was being as unhelpful as ever, apparently he doesn’t know how to do girls’ hair because after he accidentally yanked her ponytail too tight he pulled out the ponytail holder again and just let it hang loose, prompting a high-pitched, annoyed squeal from Julia. He said that he didn’t know what to do. Wow, Brandon.

While filming, Ron, Brandon’s Dad came in to announce that they had 2 hours and 15 minutes till the actual ceremony. He then joked that he had his funeral/wedding tux out and wondered which one it would be today. Brandon said, “It depends on who you ask.” was that Brandon’s way of expressing that he was getting cold feet?
Come on, Brandon, if we have more than one Mike on the show the entire premise will be shot. Julia said that she picked out a dress with Betty, which we didn’t get to see (probably due to Coronavirus filming restrictions) and she cut her own flowers and did her own makeup, and for a tiny, impromptu wedding, it looked really good. (Although admittedly, a little like they were going to prom.)
I felt sorry for Julia though, because she said that she was sad. She had all of these plans about how her wedding day should go, obviously she wanted her Mom there and she wanted her Dad to be able to give her away to the love of her life, the typical wedding fantasy.
But due to COVID, that couldn’t happen, she said she felt terribly alone in this process because there was literally no one there for her. (I mean, some might count Betty, but you could hardly say that Betty wanted the same things for Julia that Julia herself wanted.)
I’m glad that Brandon at least agreed to write out the vows like Julia wanted, because that is extremely sweet and personal, but at the same time, I hope that someday, if those two make it that Julia gets a good vow renewal ceremony. Stay tuned!!!
