British Royal Family News find that Prince Charles and Prince William are in need of a little help to spin the public’s view in their favor once again after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemingly dragged the entire royal family under the bus in their explosive interview with Oprah earlier this month.
According to new reports, both Charles and William have hired not one, but two crisis managers that are scheduled to start in May. Here’s what you need to know.
According to The Evening Standard, Prince Charles and Prince William have appointed two NHS spin doctors to oversee their communications.
British Royal Family News: Prince Charles And Prince William Hire New Team To Help With PR Crisis
Simon Enright, currently director of communications at the NHS and formerly the deputy editor of BBC Newsnight, will be joining Clarence House to take over Charles’ public relations matters.
Also, Victoria O’Byrne, director of communications for NHS Test and Trace, will be joining Kensington Palace to work with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The two are tasked with repairing the reputation of the royal family after the shocking allegations made by Harry and Meghan during their tell-all with Oprah. Both described their feelings of misery and isolation while they were full-time working members of the royal family.
Not only that, but they also suggested there is a racist within the monarchy, but made a point to note that it wasn’t Queen Elizabeth nor was it her husband, Prince Philip.
If that weren’t enough, Prince Harry told Oprah during their sit down that his father Prince Charles had cut him off, both financially and emotionally. Meghan said that she experienced suicidal thoughts while she was pregnant with the child’s son Archie back in 2018.
So far Prince Charles nor Prince William have made any comments about the report.
