‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that the writers may have overdone themselves with their newest storyline. Things were fine until they decided to take things too far and potentially ruin a great story with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind).
The story of cyber-bullying was a realistic look at how social media and cell phones can cause great chaos among our young people, and Faith was at the brunt of that very torture. We were witness to her struggling under the weight of bullying and everything that came with it, including losing friends and experimenting with alcohol. However, have they ruined this potentially great story by causing her to be in an accident?

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Did The Writers Ruin A Good Storyline With Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind)?
Some viewers were talking about how the show had started to work on real issues and deal with things that happen in the real world. We’ve seen the cancer storylines, and Faith being bullied was drawing attention to cyber-bullying and the negative effects social media can have on younger people, however, has the show taken things too far to push Faith to drinking and taking cars?
I understand that it looks like the actress, Alyvia Alyn Lind is working on some other projects, so her character will probably be in the hospital for a while and the writers had to find a way to “write her character off” for a little bit, but this seems one of the most drastic ways they could do it!
Was there another way that the writers could have dealt with this or do you think they were forced to do something this drastic?
