It begins with Michael Bennett (Christian LeBlanc) delivering bad news to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). He tells him that he needs to excuse him from the case. Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bergman) doesn’t buy it and corners Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) in the hopes that she will get some answers. In the courtroom, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) scores a point in their case when he presents a video of Nick that doesn’t make him look very good.

Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) continue their getaway. She’s worried after he tells her that he wants to stop his treatment. Also, Nick’s latest charade comes to light while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has a tense exchange of words with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). Summer Newman (Hunter King) has her doubts about Theo Vanderwall (Tyler Johnson) after seeing a different side to his personality.

It begins with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) telling everyone his unexpected news. Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) loses patience with her mother Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue). She’s making it pretty clear that she doesn’t want her estranged father Adrian to attend her upcoming wedding to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Also, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) decides to step things up and takes matters into her own hands.

Michael Bennett (Christian LeBlanc) follows through with a threat, even though this is the last thing that he wants to do. Things are beginning to heat up between Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and her new boyfriend Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as she’s willing to give love another try. Victor, meanwhile, handles some unfinished business.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) doesn’t like the fact that Sharon is spending so much time with Adam. She understands their bond but thinks they are getting too close for comfort. Also, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) considers an intriguing proposition. Lauren grows suspicious that Michael is keeping something from her.
